Joe earned a special nod last month for recognition at the 2025 Malt Cup. This is the result of years of hard work and a spirit of continuous improvement. The Malt Cup has been going for 7 years now, in the past Joe has contributed to the competition as a Judge. He is well versed in the hot steep method and has tasted countless barley teas / wort samples. In 2023 we upgraded our equipment to our current GK drum with Joe acting as project manager. With the new equipment and bigger batch size, we started sending every batch away for third-party testing. These test results allowed us to start providing our customers a more detailed COA and allowed us to really start dialling in our recipes.
