WA-based malting Company-Loam Malt Studio are still to formally launch their operation, yet have already snagged a gold medal in the world's largest competition for maltsters. Their Pilsner Lake variety triumphed in the Pilsner category at the 2026 Malt Cup, picking up gold at the awards ceremony held in the US.
